Management

JAMES SHIGLEY, President

Mr. Shigley has over 30 years experience in mechanical engineering design, project management, estimating and systems commissioning. His expertise is focused on complex facilities, with an emphasis in data centers, telecom centers, and other high power intensity facilities.

Additionally, Mr. Shigley is actively involved in energy-efficient design and building optimization programs on both local and national levels, and as such has had the honor of being selected to participate in both the San Diego and Connecticut Retro Commissioning pilot programs. Projects have included Los Gatos Hospital Redevelopment, Stanford University Energy Physics Laboratory, Liposome Technology Bioresearch Facilities, and multiple projects with Lockheed Missiles and Space technology campus in Sunnyvale, CA.

Mr. Shigley is fully experienced with all aspects of and challenges of commissioning data centers, airflow control, temperature gradient control, reliability testing, failure mode testing, load bank testing, and performance assurance verification.

MICHAEL ROSENBERG, Operations Manager

Mr. Rosenberg has over 12 years experience in mechanical engineering design, project management, energy management and systems commissioning. His expertise is focused on analyzing integrated system control and assisting clients in optimizing system operations through the most effcient operational modes of control.

Mr. Rosenberg started his career with the University of Illinois at Chicago working the Universities central facilities offices and as a consultant providing energy effciency analysis for industrial and commercial facilities. He has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business and is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Illinois and California. He also holds certifications as a Certified Energy Manager through the AEE and is a LonMark® Certified Professional.

Mr. Rosenberg is fully experienced with all aspects of and challenges of commissioning data centers, integrated controls, control technologies and analysis of system controls. He applies his background in controls and mechanical system design in understanding the impact of control technologies on the usage of energy and impact on reliability.
